Not automatically. A Siemens 20 amp circuit breaker is meant for a circuit that is rated and wired for 20 A, but the breaker is only one link. Check the panel listing, wire size, and load type. A general 20 A lighting or receptacle circuit in the US normally needs at least 12 AWG copper. For a continuous load lasting three hours or more, a standard thermal-magnetic breaker should be loaded to no more than 16 A. The pole count must also match: a single-pole 20 A breaker handles 120 V loads, while a two-pole 20 A handles 240 V or multi-wire branch circuits. When I check a replacement, I look for the UL 489 mark and compare the type against the panel schedule. Visual similarity is not enough.

Which way to put air filter in furnace?
The arrow on the filter points in the direction of airflow. In a furnace, that arrow points toward the blower or furnace body, not toward the return duct. If you are standing at the return grille, the arrow should point into the duct that moves air toward the blower. Reversing a pleated filter can restrict airflow and make the furnace limit switch open. That can look like an electrical failure, but the breaker was not the trigger. When the same emergency has a tripped breaker, a hard-starting generator, and a filter service issue, fix the airflow and fuel delivery before replacing the Siemens breaker. Five minutes of verification beats five days of downtime.
